GIANCE Showcases Innovation at Graphene Week 2025 in Vicenza
From 24 to 26 September 2025, the GIANCE consortium will join the international graphene and 2D materials community at the Vicenza Convention Centre (Italy) for Graphene Week 2025.
This global event is a key platform for sharing cutting-edge results, connecting researchers and industry, and demonstrating how innovation in advanced materials can contribute to a more sustainable and competitive Europe.
GIANCE public contributions
🔹 Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Workshop
📅 24 September, 11:15 – 13:15 (Room C)
Chaired and moderated by Ana Claudia Salles (FRA ICT).
The workshop will address methodologies to evaluate the environmental footprint of graphene-based innovations, supporting eco-design and sustainability principles.
🔹 Parallel Session – Composites
📅 24 September, 16:45 – 17:45 (Room B)
Moderated by Sara Murase (EUT).
The session will explore the role of graphene-based composites in driving innovation, industrial applications, and European sustainability.
🔹 Hydrogen and Graphene Technologies Training
📅 25 September, 11:15 – 12:15 (Room A)
Led by Diogo Miguel Garcia Esperança and Bruno Pinto (EUT).
This training will highlight how graphene can accelerate the hydrogen economy and enable breakthrough clean energy solutions.

By contributing to the official programme of Graphene Week 2025, GIANCE demonstrates its commitment to eco-design, innovation and impact. These sessions provide the opportunity to showcase Key Exploitable Results, foster knowledge transfer, and connect with stakeholders across Europe and beyond.
In addition to these public sessions, the consortium will also take advantage of this occasion to meet in person for its General Assembly, further strengthening collaboration and alignment across partners.
