GIANCE 6GAM Meeting: focus on validation, integration and final execution phase
On 3–4 March 2026, GIANCE partners gathered in Marknesse (NL) for the 6GAM meeting, hosted by NLR, to assess the project’s progress and align on priorities for the final six months.
The meeting marked a clear transition from development to validation. Discussions focused on the maturity of physical prototypes (WP4), the status of validation campaigns against KPIs (WP5), and circularity and end-of-life aspects (WP6), alongside dissemination and exploitation planning (WP7).
A central part of the agenda was dedicated to the 11 use cases, covering a wide range of applications:
-
water desalination and oil-water separation
-
structural health monitoring and aerospace components
-
hydrogen storage and catalysis systems
For each use case, partners assessed:
-
achieved vs target TRL levels
-
validation readiness and remaining gaps
-
scalability potential and system integration challenges
The second day addressed the overall project status, including risks, deviations from the Description of Action, and mitigation strategies, leading to a consolidated execution plan for the final phase.
The meeting concluded with agreement on key actions and next steps, confirming a shared commitment to delivering validated, impactful solutions based on graphene-enabled materials.
With the project approaching its final review, the coming months will be critical to ensure alignment between technical performance, sustainability objectives, and exploitation potential.
