GIANCE in action: Insights from Day 2 presentations at JEC Forum Italy

Following the strong presence of the GIANCE project at JEC Forum Italy 2025 in Cernobbio, we are pleased to report that on June 13, 2025, two of our key partners—Crossfire and NANOPROM—took the stage to present the project’s ongoing developments in graphene-based circular composite materials.

Gianluigi Creonti from Crossfire delivered an in-depth technical presentation titled “GIANCE Project for Innovation in Circular Recyclable Graphene-based Crosspreg® Reactive Prepregs”. His talk focused on:

• The development of Crosspreg®, a graphene-enhanced reactive prepreg;
• Use cases in the automotive sector, such as components for Maserati Levante and Jeep Renegade;
• Promising test results indicating a 50% increase in load capacity and 30% reduction in deflection for graphene-reinforced glass composites;
• Upcoming innovations using natural and aramid fabrics.

In parallel, Gian Luca Falleti from NANOPROM also presented key aspects of the GIANCE project, reinforcing its mission to develop multifunctional, lightweight, and recyclable materials for high-impact industrial sectors. His contribution underlined the collaborative strength behind GIANCE and its potential to lead Europe toward a net-zero and circular economy.

These complementary perspectives from two industrial leaders greatly enriched the audience’s understanding of the GIANCE project and its transformative objectives.
